Who We Are

Cherry Hills Land Preserve (CHLP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2005 to inspire nature conservation and open space stewardship in Cherry Hills Village. Since late 2021, in partnership with the City of Cherry Hills Village, Cherry Hills Land Preserve has focused on revitalizing Quincy Farm to transform this property into a vibrant community asset that connects people to nature and history. We provide strategic planning and programming for Quincy Farm.  Each year, we develop an Annual Plan with the City that establishes agreed-upon initiatives for the following year.

Cherry Hills Land Preserve combines the talents of passionate, active volunteer board members and exceptional staff dedicated to the legacy and future of Quincy Farm. We couldn’t accomplish everything we do without the tremendous support of our ambassadors and volunteers. We are honored to partner with the City of Cherry Hills Village to ensure that this incredibly special place can be preserved, cherished, and enjoyed for many years to come.

The Vision

Quincy Farm will be an integral part of the educational and recreational infrastructure of the City of Cherry Hills Village, a place of experiences that remind our community of its agricultural heritage, a place of natural beauty and open spaces, a place that provides a rich habitat for local flora and fauna, and a place that centers and enriches the Cherry Hills Village Community.

We hope to inspire joy, promote a sense of stewardship, and spark curiosity for the natural wonders found in our own backyard. We encourage you to meet with us, learn more about our programs, and discover how you can get involved today.
